Mary Ifakorede

Please lift Mary and her entire family in your prayers. Mary delivered her baby boy Malik at 39 weeks on Saturday, and the baby did not make it. Please pray over her as this is a devastating loss. Pray for God's comfort in this time as He is the only one who can truly give us hope. Pray for her mother Batu as she cares for Mary in her grief while also caring for their family of 6. Pray that we can be the church to this family in this dark time.

Please pray for our sweet 5-year old Polly. She has been on the NCH wait list for 2 years to get into the Intensive Feeding Program. The wait is over and she begins Monday in the 8-week, 8 hour per day program. Please pray that she succeeds in the program, learns to swallow on her own, can get rid of her feeding tube, and in turn can begin attending a school for children with autism.

UPDATE: Ken is home and recovering after his stay in the hospital. Please continue to pray for healing, an end to his nausea, and for him to be done with the antibiotics ahead of time. Pray for the infection to be gone so his body can continue healing from the surgery. Also continue to pray for his wife Martha as she cares for him. Give her strength and patience as this has been a year full of surgeries and scares. Remind her you never abandon us, Lord.

Please pray for Ken Place, a member of our security team at the Jefferson location and brother in Christ. He recently had a corrective shoulder surgery. He has since begun fighting an infection. The hospital now has an infectious disease doctor involved to try to combat the infection he is experiencing. Please pray for his healing and strength to endure and overcome all that he is going through. Please also pray for his wife Martha to be strengthened and comforted because she cannot be with him and finally for the wisdom of his medical team.
